How to use the Chakras in Everyday Life: Crown

We have climbed up our six chakras, and aligned them all. Now we have made it to our crowns. The crown chakra (Sahasrara in Sanskrit) is what grants us our divine connection to how Godly we are.

All About the Crowncrown-chakra

The crown chakra is located at the crown of our head and is associated with the color violet. It allows us to have awareness of how infinite we are at every moment.

It is important to balance our crown chakra because it removes us from the limitations we place on ourselves, and grants us the vision that all is one.

Signs of Imbalance

Here are signs that your crown chakra may be imbalanced:

  • Bored with life
  • Closed-mindedness
  • Overthinking (in the past or future)
  • Using spirituality to feel superior over others
  • Relying too much on “signs and omens” before making decisions
  • Inability to surrender beyond what’s in our control
  • Depression
  • Mental fog
  • Selfish thoughts/motives
  • Lack of care/compassion towards others
  • Lack of purpose/direction
  • Feeling alienated from others
  • Loneliness
  • Fear of Change

Balancing the Crown Chakra

If you do these practices everyday (or as often as possible), you will feel ecstasy and bliss for all!

Chanting the root chakras mantra “AUM” while placing this mudra (arms up above head)

Meditating while envisioning the color white/violet entering your crown.

Because the crown chakra is focused on light energy, fasting and detoxing helps crown chakra balance, due to the body taking a break from digesting and flushes out . toxins.

Essential Oils

Feel your inner God(dess) energy with oils such as

Sage, Lavender, Frankincense, and Juniper

Soak in sunlight – Practice Mindfulness daily – Meditate daily – Take ayahuasca – Detach from thoughts – Clean your space (Cleanliness is next to Godliness) – Enjoy silence – Pray – Wear violet – Use technology less – Chant

Affirmations can be spoken out loud or silently in your mind. Affirmations are charged when you state them several times (at least three) while feeling that what is stated is true.

I am free of limiting beliefs.

I am infinite and boundless.

I am part of the divine. I honor the divine within me.

I embrace the unity of all beings.

I embrace letting go.

I live in the present moment.

I am open to the abundance and greatness the Universe offers.

I honor my body as the temple that nourishes my soul.

I am peaceful, whole, and balanced.

With a balanced crown chakra, we are able to trust the unknown and be open to change in our lives. We are able to understand the oneness of all and feel the blissful connection to Source. Thank you for reading my Chakra series.
